Upon completion of your training you will be ready for your first jump. You will arrive at the airfield as early as possible ready to make your first Skydive. Assisted by an instructor you will put on your parachute harness container system and will be checked out on aircraft exit procedures.
Once at the designated jump altitude of 3,500 feet, your jump master will dispatch you from the aircraft. As you exit and fall away from the aircraft, the static line automatically deploys the parachute on your back and begins the opening process.
The static line progression consists of 8 static line jumps and 17 free fall jumps. Upon completion of this progression you will qualify for an “A” License.
To do a Static Line Jump you must be 16 years of age with parental consent and weigh no more than 100kg.
