Static line jump
The traditional static line training takes an evening classroom session at the ICARUS skydiving school, followed by the practical evaluation at the airfield. The course includes aircraft & exit procedures, landings, emergencies, and much more. The training continues with hands-on practical exercises at both the school and the airfield. Upon completion of your training you will be ready for your first jump. You will arrive at the airfield as early as possible ready to make your First Skydive. Assisted by an Instructor you will put on your parachute harness container system and will be checked out on aircraft exit procedures. Once at the designated jump altitude of 3500 feet, your jumpmaster will dispatch you from the aircraft. As you exit and fall away from the airplane, the static line automatically pulls the parachute from the container on your back and begins the opening process. The Static Line progression consists of 8 static line jumps and 17 freefall jumps. Upon completion of this progression you will qualify for an "A" License. To do a Static Line Jump you must be 16 years of age with parental consent and weigh no more than 100 kg's. To schedule your jump contact us |
